Established in November 2003, the Resource Center for the History of Entrepreneurship aims to provide resources for the study of socio-economic life in Japan from the end of the 19th century onwards. Industrialization and modernization during the late 19th and early 20th centuries profoundly effected and enduringly influenced Japan, helping to mold the Japan of today. We believe, therefore, that the keys to a better future can be found in our wealth of resources; resources encouraging the reevaluation of economic development and manufacturing and the refocusing of the study of entrepreneurship on people rather than on organizations or the state. |
