CBA outage fixed

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) says its customers should now have access to their funds again, after a computer glitch affected some accounts on Tuesday morning.
The bank says the problem happened after it processed an overdue computer file about midday.
"During the file's processing, there were brief, managed outages of up to 15 minutes to our online channels CommBiz and NetBank," the bank says in a statement.
"The file has now completed processing.
“All accounts are now up to date and there is no impact to our online channels.”
The bank says problems with its auto-teller machine network were also resolved.
"Customers whose accounts required data from the late running file may have had difficulty accessing cash through ATMs during processing this morning," the statement says.
"As the file has now been processed, this is no longer an issue for those customers.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the CBA reported the file was mostly linked to business customer accounts, but it had identified a few retail customers who were also affected.
"At most, up to five per cent of CBA accounts are impacted," the bank said.
The bank says customers who are worried about possible fees or charges due to the computer problem should contact the CBA on 132 221.
"The Commonwealth Bank again apologises to those customers who were inconvenienced by this processing delay," it says.
CBA is the second major bank to experience computer problems in the past month, after a corrupt file caused late payments for thousands of National Australia Bank customers.
