The dramatic rescue of an Indiana family's golden retriever, Breeze, was caught on tape Monday night. "An 18-year-old girl jumped into an icy pond trying to rescue her family's golden retriever," reports 'Morning Express' host Robin Meade, "But Nekoda Witsken went numb right away, awww, and then had to get back out of the water." As footage shows firefighters pulling Breeze from the pond, Meade explains that she'd been in the freezing water for 40 minutes. "The ears all had ice, and the snout, you could see the water that was starting to freeze," says fireman Dennis Parker. "It was a good thing they called when they did."
"They really cared about Nekoda, and then about the whole situation," says mom Kathy Witsken about the firefighters. "There's a lot of heart in what they do." After a trip to the vet, Breeze is back at home safe.

A dog becomes part of your family and they are loved almost as much as a family member. I think my kids would miss our dog more than me. :)

People don't realize how much junk is in the commercial dog foods. That is why I only feed my dog Life's Abundance ( HTTP://bit.ly/LifesAbundance ) all natural health food for dogs. It is veterinarian formulated, made in small batches, and delivered to my house, so it's fresher.

Dumb? yes when a child dies for a dog. who would you mourn for more , the child or the dog? A child could grow to achieve much in life.cure diseases, inspire others.. I love my dog, But would take of my family if I die trying to save my dog? It is only a heart warming story if the child lives , tragic and yes stupid if she had died

When your dog is in trouble, you take care of it. You don't evaluate the possibilities.
