The dramatic rescue of an Indiana family's golden retriever, Breeze, was caught on tape Monday night. "An 18-year-old girl jumped into an icy pond trying to rescue her family's golden retriever," reports 'Morning Express' host Robin Meade, "But Nekoda Witsken went numb right away, awww, and then had to get back out of the water." As footage shows firefighters pulling Breeze from the pond, Meade explains that she'd been in the freezing water for 40 minutes. "The ears all had ice, and the snout, you could see the water that was starting to freeze," says fireman Dennis Parker. "It was a good thing they called when they did."

"They really cared about Nekoda, and then about the whole situation," says mom Kathy Witsken about the firefighters. "There's a lot of heart in what they do." After a trip to the vet, Breeze is back at home safe.
