Lace makes you sexy while still adding that all-important air of mystery. And, of course, this kind is black: forgiving, flattering, slimming; it hides dirt and there are enough variations so you don't see yourself coming and going.
Burberry model Emma Watson broke with tradition and stepped out in this sexy, and sheer, Rafael Lopez for the premiere of the penultimate Harry Potter film: 'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1,' in London, Nov. 11. With an open back (and did we mention the dress was sheer?) and sexy feather trim, this was a departure from her usual classic look. Perhaps her newly cropped hair is spurring the more mature look?
Though she's just too young (albeit with a great figure) to wear as much black lace as she does, Taylor Swift's classic little black sheath with a lace overlay by Jenny Packham suits her. This dress, worn to the CMT Artists of the Year event on November 30, is one of many little black lace dresses she's worn lately, including this one by Tadashi on the cover of Glamour.
Kirsten Dunst's fitted lacy sheath by Valentino had a little added character with white, ruffled cuffs. The actress chose this not-so-basic black for the premiere of her newest movie, "All Good Things," in New York on Dec. 1. Get More on StyleList

I picked Taylor Swift simply because she's the only one wearing a dress with lace. Emma and Kirsten both are wearing too much lace. On top of that Emma is looking decidedly undersnourished.

Taylor is the one that looks undernourished; plus her dress would look better on Emma, who is also prettier
Hey John, you must like the BIG chubby girls if you think Emma is undernourished. Did you see her on Letterman's show....What a beautiful young lady.

You could put Emma in a patato sack and she'd still be beautiful.

Love the dress Swift is wearing but looks to old for her. Best on someone in 40s.

They all look terrible. Black lace is for old ladies and hookers.
