Black Friday and Cyber Monday Travel Deals

Black Friday deals aren't just for $99 flat screen TVs. This year, treat yourself to a much-needed vacation by jumping on these travel deals with hotels as low as $44 and luxe resorts at 50 percent off. We got the scoop on cheap travel deals, available to book on Black Friday (November 26th) or Cyber Monday (November 29th).








1. The Orlando Vista Hotel, Orlando, Florida
From $49/night
If this is the year you are taking the kids to Walt Disney World, the Orlando Vista Hotel is offering Florida-bound Mouseketeers a $49 per night rate on standard rooms, which usually run from $59 to $79. To add to the savings, you can skip the parking fees by using the hotel's complimentary scheduled shuttles to the Disney theme parks, and fill up on free daily continental breakfast as well.

2. Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
From $135/night
When the weather gets tough, the tough head to the Caribbean for warm-weather respite. And that usually means higher rates. But the Bolongo Bay Beach Resort on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands will have a 24-hour Black Friday sale, offering their oceanview rooms for just $135 a night (about half off the regular rate of $265.) Stay five nights or more and they will throw in a half-day snorkeling trip or a Sunset Harbor Cocktail Cruise on the resort's 53-foot catamaran.

3. Shell Vacations Hospitality
From $44.50/night
The Black Friday Travel Sale from Shell Vacations Hospitality offers up to 50 percent off nightly rates (starting as low as $44.50) at 23 resorts across Mexico, Canada, and the U.S., including Hawaii. Participating resorts include San Francisco's classic Inn at the Opera at $104 a night, which is nearly 30 percent off the normal $149 and up per night charge. The grande dame hotel is right near the Opera House, site of many classic holiday concerts.
Book it: As is tradition, the annual sale begins at midnight on November 26th and ends midnight on Cyber Monday.

4. Travelocity
Savings of up to 50% off
This online booking site will have two one-day sales this year: one on Black Friday and one on Cyber Monday. Expect to see offers like a third night free at hotels in Jamaica and the Turks & Caicos, up to 50 percent off hotels in Hawaii, and (if you prefer wind chill over sunshine) a hotel in downtown Chicago will be 40 percent off.

5. The Sonesta Collection
Save 50% on all two-night stays
There are currently 27 Sonesta hotels in desirable destinations around the world, from New Orleans to St. Maarten to Egypt. And they are all on sale in a special Black Friday Sale to the tune of 50 percent off all two-night stays. For reference, without the deal, the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans would be $250 a night for a December weekend while an oceanview room at the Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino on St. Maarten would be around $200 a night.

6. Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Save up to 50%
Don't worry if you missed the Black Friday deals; Starwood is waiting until Cyber Monday to kick off the savings. And they give you five days to book stays that are up to 50 percent off at Sheraton, Westin, W, St. Regis, Le Méridien, and Luxury Collection hotels around the world. Deals include $99 a night at the Westin Cancun and 33 percent off the St. Regis Princeville in Kauai. To get a head start, friend Starwood Preferred Guest on Facebook or follow them on Twitter and you'll have access to Starwood's One Day Wonders sale six hours before everyone else (starting at 12AM EST on Monday, November 29th). One Day Wonders will include ocean front rooms at Fort Lauderdale's Westin Diplomat for $179 (usually $309) and deluxe rooms at St. Regis Aspen from $399 a night, almost half the regular price of $749.
Book it: Rooms booked through Starwood's Cyber Monday sales are good for stays between January 1 and April 30, 2011.

7. Affinia Hotels
15% savings
An affordable hotel in a big city? We'll take it! Affinia Hotels, which has properties in New York City, Chicago and Washington D.C., has a Cyber Monday deal beginning at midnight on November 29. You'll get 15 percent off the best available rate for stays through Monday, November 28, 2011. Plus, if you're one of the first 50 people to make a reservation November 29, you'll receive a $50 gift card upon check-in.
Book It: Create a My Affinia profile on Affinia.com. The discount comes via email in the form of a booking code.

8. Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
From $294/night
Deals for one of the Caribbean's most popular islands can be hard to find, so this Cyber Monday discount from the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is pretty sweet. Between 12:00am and 11:59pm on Monday, November 29th, 2010 only you can buy two nights at the leisure rate (starting at $294), you'll get two nights free. The deal is valid for travel from April 26 through December 22, 2011.
