Tony Parker Files His Own Divorce Papers in Texas

Looks like the Eva Longoria and Tony Parker divorce is turning into a battle. TMZ.com reports the basketball star filed his own divorce papers in Texas on Friday--in response to the papers Longoria filed earlier this week in Los Angeles.

Parker's petition shows Friday's date and was filed in Bexar County, Texas. With papers filed in two different states, it seems the couple is fighting over where the case will be heard. According to TMZ, Texas divorces can move quickly--all could be said and done in 60 days.

In his petition, Parker states the following as the reason for the split: "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."

Though the couple reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement, Parker's divorce papers don't mention it. Instead he states, "Petitioner believes Petitioner and Respondent will enter into an agreement for the division of their estate."

'Independence Day' actor Jeff Goldblum is a little bit worried. Early Friday, the actor's lawyer went to court and asked for a restraining order against a woman who's been stalking him since 2001, TMZ.com reports. The woman, Linda Ransom, is days away from being released from a mental institution where she's been since 2009 after being declared incompetent.

The judge hearing the case decided to refuse the request; he said Goldblum would have to wait for her to make a new threat before he could issue a restraining order. Ransom has been previously arrested five times for trespassing and stalking.

Goldblum had a prior restraining order against her but it expired while she was institutionalized. He was recently notified her release date was approaching and asked his lawyer to request an updated order.

Who Will Design Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress?

By Emily Hall  Posted Nov 19th 2010 05:30PM
Kate MiddletonSimple yet elegant: Rumor has it that Kate Middleton has picked British designer-to-the-stars Phillipa Lepley to create her wedding gown. Romantic flowers, majestic ballgowns and twinkly vintage lace are the way a British magazine described Phillipa Lepley's 2011 bridal collection.

With British bookmakers betting on Lepley, according to PEOPLE, what will the London-based haute couture designer do for Middleton when she marries Prince William next year?

"Kate will want to look drop dead elegant yet not over the top," a fashion source tells PopEater.

So far, reps for Lepley have made no comment, but the Brits are abuzz over the designer who may create the wedding gown for England's future princess.
