It Would Be Bad Business for Kim Kardashian to Get Married Now

By Jo Piazza  Posted Nov 16th 2010 06:00PM

Sorry Kris! We just don't think it is a great idea for Kim Kardashian to walk down the aisle too soon. Secretly, the savvy momager business lady in Kris Jenner must agree.

While Kim is the undeniable kingpin of the Kardashian empire, she is also a cog in a well-oiled machine that uses the show 'Keeping up With the Kardashians' to sell a slew of consumer products -- from shoes to perfume, weight loss aids to bathing suits.

The trifecta of Kardashian sisters -- Kim, Kourtney and Khloe -- assault and delight consumer sensibilities weekly on their reality show and from the pages of celebrity news magazines. The brilliance of their marketing is that they each appeal to a different demographic of consumer.

The Kardashian klan (had to do that) is utilizing some skillful product differentiation to appeal to various groups of women.

Celebrity Sightings: 'Glee' Star Mark Salling Parties the Night Away

By Amber James  Posted Nov 16th 2010 04:30PM
Mark SallingAfter promoting his solo record, 'Pipe Dreams' (on his own label!), 'Glee' star Mark Salling dined with friends at Abe & Arthur's in NYC's Meatpacking District on Saturday evening before heading to SL Lounge. "He was having a great time and in high spirits since his album just released last week," an onlooker tells PopEater.

Although the star has been linked to Kim Kardashian and Audrina Patridge, Salling is focusing on his friends and enjoying the single life. We don't blame him.

Over the summer, Salling's relationship with his 'Glee' co-star Naya Rivera ended badly, and she allegedly keyed his car in a jealous fit. While on E!'s pre-Emmys red carpet show, Salling told Ryan Seacrest that he wished Rivera had thrown "a cheeseburger" at his car instead. "I'd appreciate that!" he joked.

Eva Longoria's Rep Sinks '100% False' Divorce Report

By PopEater Staff  Posted Nov 16th 2010 04:15PM
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker File For DivorceAre Eva Longoria and Tony Parker the latest Hollywood couple to call it quits? Minutes after TMZ published a crushing report claiming the pair filed for divorce on Monday in a Texas court, a rep for the 'Desperate Housewives' beauty is calling the story "100% false."

Longoria's publicist, Liza Anderson, did not expand on the denial in her comment to X17Online, nor did an unnamed Parker rep in a similar statement ("100% false") to CelebBuzz.

TMZ quickly corrected themselves, admitting that they received some bad information from two clerks at the Bexar County Courthouse in Texas, who claimed the case was filed and sealed by a family law judge.

Natalie Portman Talks 'Extreme' Sex Scene With Mila KunisNatalie Portman's portrayal of a tormented ballerina in Darren Aronovsky's upcoming film 'Black Swan' has many critics buzzing, but it's not just her twirling that has everyone talking.

The actress, who stars opposite Mila Kunis in the film, opened up to V Magazine about growing up on film and her much-discussed sex scene with Kunis.

Portman, who has previously shied away from overtly sexual roles and even turned down parts due to scripted nudity, says she has become more open in recent years to baring more than just her soul on film.

"I was figuring out my own sexual identity, likes and dislikes and all that stuff, and it's weird to be doing stuff on film as you're figuring it out," she says.

The actress, who is known for choosing tasteful-but-complex roles, says that she has no moral objections to being nude on screen, although she fears the potential for exploitation.

Kate's Dazzling Ring Belonged to Harry, Not William

By Rob Shuter  Posted Nov 16th 2010 03:10PM

EXCLUSIVE: No one was more surprised than Kate Middleton when Prince William gave her Princess Diana's oval sapphire engagement ring. Why? Because it was his brother, Prince Harry, who received it after his beloved mother died.

Following their mother's tragic death in 1997, Prince Charles took Harry and William to visit Kensington Palace, Diana's home, where they selected mementos from their mummy's possessions. Prince Harry chose the ring and Prince William chose Diana's 18K yellow gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch that she used to teach him the time.

"Harry was happy to give the ring to his brother," an insider with knowledge of the situation tells me. "He loves William and thinks it's only right that one day the woman sitting next to the King will be wearing his mother's ring. That's the way Diana would have wanted it."
