Did John Travolta fire up his jet and fly back to the United States from Australia this weekend? Yes. Did he cut short his trip Down Under because his Kelly Preston is in labor, as was reported Sunday by the Herald Sun? Not so much, according to the star's rep.

"This story is 100 percent false," a spokesperson told PEOPLE. "She's not in labor. John is in route back to the U.S. as was always the plan for him to return this weekend."

Of course, if she does go into labor while he's away, the scenario won't be so far-fetched.

What's up with Miley Cyrus? Parents everywhere seem to have some strong opinions on the matter, whether favorable or not.

It's pretty evident the Disney starlet is on the cusp of adulthood. Whether she's strutting around in her skivvies in music videos, painting the town red in barely-there hot pants, or nonchalantly sipping a beer with her pals, she's eager to show the world she's all grown up.

And, really, who can blame her? After spending most of her adolescence constrained by the shackles of Mickey Mouse, she's finally free to let loose with her new, bad girl self.

Miley turns eighteen later this month, a milestone birthday even for those of us whose childhoods weren't documented by Disney.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted this weekend in Los Angeles, off the grounds of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California (where she has reportedly been making significant progress in her court-ordered drug addiction treatment program).

Saturday morning, accompanied by her longtime assistant, Lohan went to her home in West Hollywood. According to RadarOnline, she allegedly sought a "day pass" to attend a meeting with Matthew Wilder, director of the Linda Lovelace biopic 'Inferno,' who has said in the past that he hopes to work around his leading lady's legal restrictions in order to keep her on the film.

And today, TMZ is reporting that Lohan -- who has pleaded with the court about her lack of funds to pay for treatment -- is scheduled to pose in a one-day photo shoot for the Russian apparel designer Kira Plastinina.

Jessica Simpson is heading down the aisle again. In a new report from Us, a source says that, as of Thursday, the singer and reality TV star is now engaged to her new love Eric Johnson. It will be the second marriage for both.

Just days earlier, news broke that ex-husband Nick Lachey was engaged to marry his live-in girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo.

Simpson met Johnson, a former NFL pro, in May. And their speedy courtship took a big step forward when he accompanied her to Italy to celebrate her 30th birthday in July. Last month -- shortly after Johnson's divorce from his wife of five years, Keri, was finalized -- Simpson gushed in the press about her new romance: "We're just best friends. He's my dude! I love him."

The TV star, who recently presided as a guest judge during the controversial season finale of 'Project Runway,' wed pop singer Lachey at the age of 22 in 2002; after starring in the MTV hit 'Newlyweds,' the couple divorced in 2006. Lachey, 37, began dating Minnillo shortly after the divorce. Simpson has since dated singer John Mayer and football star Tony Romo.

On Saturday, Simpson was spotted wearing a large ruby and diamond ring on her left hand while making an appearance at a Kansas mall. Her rep has yet to confirm that she and Johnson are officially engaged.

"These people on Facebook, they're not your friends," says William Shatner, addressing Jimmy Kimmel's late-night viewers in a recently aired faux PSA.

The comedian has declared this Wednesday, Nov. 17 "National Unfriend Day" -- a pretend holiday on which he hopes all Americans will stop and go through their Facebook accounts to weed out random acquaintances and old classmates with whom they're not truly friends.

"You want to know who your friends are?" he explains. "Post a status update that says 'I'm moving this weekend and I need help.' The people that respond? Those are your friends! Everyone else isn't."

In preparation for NUD, Kimmel has drafted his own official Declaration of Indefriendence. 'Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel' regular, Uncle Frank, read the formal document on the air last week.

Screen star and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor, 93, was hospitalized Friday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, after her private physician sought treatment for a possible "massive blood clot" in her leg.

However, Rueters now reports that Gabor was diagnosed with an infection, not a blood clot, and was able to return to her Bel Air, Calif., home on Saturday. According to her husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, she is undergoing anitbiotic treatments at home for leg and blood infections, under the care of two nurses.

The wheelchair-bound Hungarian has been plagued by medical woes ever since a 2002 auto accident led to partial paralysis.
