Favre met with the media for a regularly scheduled press conference on Wednesday, but he didn't give any insight into his Tuesday meeting with the NFL's security department, which is investigating whether Favre violated the league's personal conduct policy.
"That's a league issue that I'll just have to leave at that," Favre said.
Favre was much more interested in discussing his return to Green Bay, where the Vikings and Packers meet on Sunday night. Favre indicated that he can enjoy this year's game in Green Bay a little more than he enjoyed playing at Lambeau Field last year, because the novelty of playing in Green Bay for the first time as a visitor is behind him. But he also said he isn't worrying about how Packers fans will treat him.
"I can't be concerned about that," Favre said. "I know what I did there, the legacy I left behind, the commitment to that team, the way I played. That was a long time and I'm proud of that."
Favre said that the Packers have changed so much in the three years since he's been there that he doesn't see any way he can provide a strategic advantage to his current team.
Favre also said the pain from tendinitis in his elbow is starting to ease up, and as a result, he's taking more repetitions in practice.
"It feels better," Favre said. "It always feels a little bit better if you win."

Why does Bret Favre still get to play? If this was a black player or even the case with Big Ben the NFL would have suspended him until investigation was over.
dont play the black card you twit.seems to me a black player on the net getting head from a kim k look alike just went unpunished. its not all about blacks vs whites. did you stop to think hes innocent of this bull.the first thing you say is well if he was black they would have.. shes getting a lawyer now so maybe brett isnt talking till court.then it will all come out if at all.shes dancing a different tune today, than yesterday.shes not going to tell anything till she goes to civil court and try for the big bucks...what a piece of trash, and you sir sshould keep it still until we all find out for sure...if he was black my ass..............
The question should also be, why is he not being raked over the coals by the writers for what he did to his poor wife and family the way Tiger was. Where is all the drama and brimstone and fire finger wagging for other men about a grown man sending a woman pictures of his sex organs.
Is it funny how these writers just simply used every tabliod article against Tiger to bash him and treat him like a step-child. Yet, Brett is doing as he pleases and all is well with these writers.
I agree that Brett is getting more silence from reporters and sport analysts, though as of yet it was one incident and Tiger had a parade. I am very saddened at the lack of honor for vows as well as people hurting their families for self.
again, they dont know for sure whos telling the truth.she said, but he hasnt said anything.thats what a good qb does. downplay the offence with a good defence.then throw the bomb.you will see she is not to be believed.maybe hes not talking about it because he knows its bull. something inocent turned into adultry.they didnt have sex,not even head, just her sayso of what went on in her mind. two years my friend and she kept it all.why/why?
Bretts being smart. He doesn't need to be punished until the entire story is told and these facts surface. Jen Sterger is not so squeaky clean in this matter. There are no comparisons between Tiger or Ben. Race does not play a role in this investigation, witch hunt or smear campaign. I like Brett for his proffessional football talent. I will not condemn him for an indiscretion of his personal life. Clean out your own closets. The media is not giving Brett a break . This type of story is all too common in our lives. It needs to be put back in moth balls as Brett will when he retires.
Favre cannot discuss this situation due to it's an ongoing investigation and I'm sure his atty, he probably has one, told him not to talk about it at all. As usual the media is playing this up which is ridiculous. The media still asks the questions and they know better not to ask him.
