The home crowd at Heinz Field cheered Roethlisberger loudly as he was introduced. The team chose to have their starting offense introduced, giving the fans a chance to cheer as Roethlisberger was introduced.
The game didn't start great for Big Ben, as he was intercepted by Joe Haden inside the red zone. Haden returned the interception -- the first of his young career -- 62 yards to set up a Cleveland field goal.
Browns vs. Steelers: Box Score
Roethlisberger and the Steelers answered with a six-minute, 81-yard drive that was capped by Roethlisberger's touchdown pass to Mike Wallace.
Early on, outside of the throw that Haden intercepted, Roethlisberger looked very sharp. He threw the ball very well, especially on the scoring drive.

Good to see Genital Ben back in the saddle.
Good one. The question is how long before he rapes someone's else? Like Kobe he's a player you can only like if he's on your team. It's got to be tough if your the father of a daughter and a Steeler fan. What if it's your daughter next? Worth a football game? He may not have been convicted but he did wrong. As did OJ and Kobe? Money talks, they walk.
two helmet to helmet hits by Harrisson of Pittsburgh and no call... Im done with the NFL
welcome back ben! we love our black and gold, playoffs baby!
i agree with you and i love big ben
yeah cleve55 ... i saw that plain as day too (2 helmet to helmut tackles by pittsburg's harrison) ... and the horsecollar play from the interception return was a turned head play by the officials too! must be nice to get special favors.
what no outrage?? No "ben should be banned from the NFL"? No signs of protest, just welcome back good ole boy? Funny, you idiots had plenty to say when Vick re-entered the NFL...Now you have good ole boy ben back to parades and accolades..funny how the demon mind works.
Hey lgwynn7213,
I can see where your going with your statement...but why don't you leave the race bullsh$t out of it???? I am a DieHard STEELERS fan and although I do not agree with his meathead actions NO CHARGES WHERE BROUGHT ON HIM!!! As for Vick he was tried and convicted.... Now before you go and start ranting I firmly believe Vick has paid his dues and people need to let the Man do what he does best. I have even made the statement that I would love to see Vick wear the #7 for the STEELERS. So leave the crap out of it and state the facts....do not breed hate!!
No, have you?
Jealously makes for sad comment inspirations.Big Ben is back ,GO STEELERS !!!
Great game, Ben!!! Keep it up. And stay out of bars after midnight :)
How quickly people forget and forgive when it comes to a quarterback they need. I agree with LGWYNN. Outside of the Steelers, Ben is still an embarrassment to the sport.
Ya...I thought he is a Rapist...he still gets cheered, Wow, love those steeler fans!!!
Actually, Ben has never been found guilty of anything. Yes, there were the accusations but notice when it got to actually standing up they both backed down. Tends to tell me nothing happened in the first place, and they knew it.
keeping cheering for a rapist. you better lock up your sisters and daughters when ole ben and little ben come roaming
Mary must be a cleveland fan; or has no working knowledge of the law. No evidence, no charges, no crime.
Way to go Ben,we sent the browns way out of town.....LET"S GO STEELERS!
this is really disappointing of the Pittsburgh fans! i guess it just shows athletes are indeed above the law, and as long as they win, anything they do is fine, apparently and regrettably. ben is a disgrace to Pittsburgh, which is a fine city of hard working, upright people. that they support this pervert just because he helps them win games damages their entire city. shame on Pittsburgh for supporting this loser of a human being!
hugh, you want to back a rapist and a person who has picks on young women, why dont you let him rape you...ben should be in prison playing with the big boys or yet, let the big boys play with him, cause rapist don't make it in prison...
two helmet to helmet hits by Harrison of Pittsburgh and no call... and I bet he doesnt even get fined.... Somebody is paying off the Refs... I'm done with the NFL.
