Josh Cribbs was knocked from Sunday's Browns-Steelers game after Pittsburgh's James Harrison leveled Cleveland's versatile star with a helmet-to-helmet hit.
Cribbs, replacing Colt McCoy at quarterback for a play, took a shotgun snap, faked handoff, then rolled to his right. As he rolled to his right, he was hit low by LaMarr Woodley, then nailed by Harrison. Cribbs fumbled the football -- Cleveland recovered -- then stayed on the ground for a moment before walking slowly to the sideline.
Check out video of the hit below:
After going to the sideline, Cribbs was examined by the Browns' medical staff for several minutes. He was then taken to the locker room for further tests, most likely to determine if he has a concussion. The Browns said he would not return to the game.
Cribbs ran for 83 yards in December as Cleveland upset Pittsburgh 13-6.
Moments later, Harrison landed a similar blow on Cleveland wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi, who also had to be helped off the field. The Browns announced that Massaquoi also would not return to the game.

I understand playing tough, football is a balls out game. That being said, I have seen three plays today where a player delivered a "head shot" to another player. There was no mistaking the hit, it was delivered to knock the opposing player out. Enough of these plays meant to cripple. Goodell should put down his 25 year old, single malt Scotch whisky and start enforcing the rules.
two helmet to helmet hits by Harrisson of Pittsburgh and no call... Im done with the NFL
if a browns player did this there be a flag now i bet he wont get fined if a team like the browns did it they would get a player fined i bet
awww, its football, not pansyball, it happens, my couch always said if you dont inflict pain or injury, you sit on the bench next game
dI agree some thing has to be done about theses helmet to helmet hits. The players today are bigger, faster than they were 20 or 30 years ago. One of theses days some one is going to get kill on the field, what will they do with the player who made the helmet to helmet hit. Mr. Goodell got to crack down now or some one will get killed. Bottom line start inforcing the rules, you bread them, you pay. If you don't like it then get out of football.
