PNG - Kimbe Bay or Milne Bay?
Hello Everyone,
I am considering a trip to PNG to either Kimbe Bay or Milne Bay (Walindi and Tawali and the respective liveaboards that leave from both resorts).
After spending a considerable amount of time reading the scuba board threads on both locations...

Much for the info, checking out the site now...
-Phil Kimbe Bay, Father's Reef and Witus, are more more sharks in Kimbe.
If we were to go back I would say it would be Kimbe on one of the live-aboards diversified than Milne....

Star Dancer, Papua New Guinea trip report
I'm writing this from the Airways Hotel (which if you splurge one night on a hotel stay there you will be impressed) in Port Moresby - I got my 24 hours of travel tomorrow morning to get home to Honolulu.

Pounds.
The shark sites (2 feeding sites - one in Kimbe Bay and one at Father's Reef) had about 7 or 8 dives were on black sand in and around volcanic crater in the Witu Island.
Wiray Bay, Dickey's Place.

How Safe is PNG? How expensive? - Papua
Hi Everyone,
My boyfriend has frequent flyer miles to use before Delta does not honor them anymore and is proposing some adventure travel. He (a german) would love to go to PNG. I (an American) have just done a little research on it and am very concerned...

Clear of those areas, and stick to the safe areas like Kavieng (New Ireland Province),Madang, Kimbe on too late.
I'll give it a go anyway.
I was in Milne Bay province of PNG around Christmas time made me feel welcome and really looked after....

Ok, I booked a table at Doyles ages ago, I have not eaten there for easily 15 years and thought it was lovely at the time but having done a search here I find some pretty bad comments - can anyone give me a recent experience?

For better value eg.
Cafe sydney Don't do it Kimb.
It is simply not worth what you will pay.
A trip out to Watsons Bay however is lovely and you can get nice fish in a more informal atmosphere happy.
Will def do the trip to Watsons Bay....
