Caleb King, the Georgia redshirt junior running back, was jailed early Monday for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge. He was being held for authorities in neighboring Walton County.
According to police, King was stopped on June 20 and ticketed for going 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. When King failed to show up for an Aug. 6 court date, a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
According to Georgia AD Claude Felton, UGA coach Mark Richt "is aware of the situation and is continuing to gather information."
King is the 11th Bulldog arrested since March.

WTF Caleb? All you had to do was pay the dang ticket, or atleast go to court. DumbAss!! Still love ya tho!!!!
I live in the Athens area. I am not a Georgia fan but happen to think Mark Richt is one of the most respectable coaches in America. This smells. Who is the judge that issued the warrant? Where did he go to college? Is he a UGa alum who wants Richt out? What took so long to arrest King? It is not like it is hard to find Caleb. Has he now been arrested because of his fumble at Colorado? This is a traffice ticket not a drug trafficking issue. If someone wants to do us all a favor I would suggest tracking down the judge who issued the warrant and the police who finally made the arrest. I would love to know how he came to be imprisoned in Walton County (20+ miles from Athens-Clarke County. This story smells.
Another guy who will make it big in the national felon league. he is getting his background in thuggery and stupidity started early. When he reaches the nfl he will already be a full fledged punk.
