    This week we have spoilers for: 'Big Love,' 'Cougar Town,' 'Desperate Housewives,' 'Glee,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Modern Family,' 'NCIS: Los Angeles,' 'Smallville,' and 'The Office.'


    'Big Love'

    - Robert Patrick will guest star in multiple episodes as Bud Mayberry, the leader of a polygamist fringe group. [Source: The Ausiello Files]


    'Cougar Town'

    - Here is the costume breakdown in the Halloween-themed episode: Jules will be dressed as a princess, her father (to be played by Ken Jenkins) will be costumed as a bear, Ellie and Laurie will be dressing up as each other, Andy will be costumed as Burt Reynolds, Grayson will be dressed in a prince-like costume, while Bobby will wear the most unusual costume of the gang as he will look like a guy in a windstorm.     'Desperate Housewives'

    - Halloween will also be celebrated on Wisteria Lane: Bree will be a cheerleader, Lynette will go back to the 1920s and will be a brunette, Susan will dress as a doll, and Renee and Lee will each dress as Marilyn Monroe!     'Glee'

    - The show will have an episode focused on the day-to-day fear and isolation many gay teens face. [Source: TV Guide]

    - In the seventh episode someone will have a dream where some of the characters will be 5 year olds. The show is looking to cast kindergarten-aged actors to play Puck, Santana, Rachel, Brittany, and Mercedes. [Source: The Ausiello Files]


    'Gossip Girl'

    - Juliet will recruit Jenny to help in her plan to take down Serena. One of the things Juliet will have Jenny do is to wear the same gown Serena will wear at a special event! Word is that Juliet will also recruit another major character! [Source: Watch with Kristin]


    'Grey's Anatomy'

    - The October 28 episode was shot in document style as a camera crew invades the hospital to film a documentary about the staff's recovery in the wake of the shooting rampage. In the episode, there will be a major development for Callie and Arizona, Mandy Moore and Ryan Devlin return, and Amanda Foreman guest stars. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

    - The Chief will offer $1 million to the department of the hospital that best demonstrates need. This will get Callie's competitive side come out and she'll try to intimidate people. [Source: TV Guide's Mega Buzz]

    - Peter MacNicol will appear in at least two episodes as Dr. Stark, a pediatrics attending who will be working with Alex. [Source: TV Guide]


    'Modern Family'

    - In an upcoming episode, Claire will face off the feared janitor at Luke and Manny's school when she is put in charge of an upcoming school dance. The janitor will be played by 'Machete's' Danny Trejor. In other casting news, '24's' Mary Lynn Rajskub will play the old high school girlfriend of then closeted Mitchell.     'NCIS: Los Angeles'

    - Raymond J. Barry, who played Jack's grandfather on 'Lost,' has been cast to play a former secret agent who shares a past with Hetty. His character, named Branston Cole, will be introduced in a November sweeps episode. The casting call describes the character as frail and blind from a stroke he suffered a while back but still vigorous and sarcastic. He is a man with a long history and a deep well of secrets and he still enjoys the game of espionage and manipulation. [Source: The Ausiello Files]


    'Smallville'

    - Present-day Clark comes face-to-face with future Clark (a.k.a. Superman) in the 200th episode. In the October 22 episode, Clark finally decides to tell Lois his secret. When Aquaman returns next month, we will learn that he married DC Comics undersea queen Mera, who will be played by Elena Satine. [Source: The Ausiello Files]


    'The Office'

    - An upcoming episode will follow the Dunder Mifflin staff getting together to watch 'Glee.' [Source: The Ausiello Files]
