Singer and songwriter Bruno Mars was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession early Sunday morning at the Hard Rock, Las Vegas police confirmed.

Sgt. John Sheahan said Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested about 2:40 a.m. Sheahan said Hard Rock security confronted him in a bathroom and discovered him with narcotics.

Sheahan did not know Sunday afternoon what drug Mars possessed.

Mars has soared to popularity this year. He is known for singing and also for co-writing the hits ‘Nothin’ On You’ by B.o.B, and ‘Billionaire’ by Travie McCoy. He also co-wrote ‘Right Round’ by Flo Rida.

On Saturday, Mars had tweeted his fans asking them to come watch him perform at the Hard Rock.

I watched this episode of the Wendy Show the day that it aired and commented that Raven Symone looked amazing. Hair, figure…everything was on POINT for the show. I have a lot of respect for her as an entertainer. For one, she’s managed to successfully keep herself from the clutches of drugs, bankruptcy and other ills that seem to plague child stars. Additionally, she seems to have an amazing personality with a humble spirit. Very admirable qualities in an industry filled with fakes. Fantasia’s reality show, Fantasia for Real, premiers this Sunday and in this clip, she’s confronted by her mother and grandmother aunt regarding her relationship with a married man. Although I don’t applaud the situation itself, I’d be a lie if I said that all of this drama didn’t make me a bit more interested in not only watching the show but purchasing her album. Ciara was in attendance at Betsey Johnson’s Le DeTour Betsey Spring Summer 2011 fashion show held at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday, September 13, 2010. Ciara wore a form fitting black and white checkered Betsey Johnson waist cincher dress paired with all black leather thigh high boots. She sported loose waves swooped to one side. Make-up was flawless.

Her matching fire engine red lips and nails added to the vixen look. Ciara’s body is smokin’, ladies if you’ve been slacking on your gym regimine just one look at her body will have you running back. Upon entrance Miss Cici was immediately swamped by reporters, photographers, fans and videographers. The singer came out to show Bestsey some love and states if her schedule permits she will try and make her friend Designer Jeremy Scott’s fashion show during the week. Also in attendance at the Betsey Johnson fashion show was Omarion, Denise Richards and Carmen Electra.
