When do you practice your makeup?

Easy. At night, when you are about to remove your makeup, you load it all on, as much as you can. THEN you take it all off!

This is pretty much what I started off with: a gyaru eye. My eye of the day, if you will. I did add more eyeliner and falsies, though, and I did have my eyebrows done, but I wiped them off prior to this. Fun fact: I spent nearly two minutes on mascara, and five seconds on the falsies. Proof that falsies are faster.

Closed eye.

Did eyebrows, then piled on blue, white, and silver eyeshadow.

Extended brows, then made a heavy crease with cream and pencil eyeliner, and some black eyeshadow.

A nice, sultry 20-30's eye.

Sorry about the terrible blending. Need to buy matte black eyeshadow.

Unrelated to the makeup:
I've been running low on eye glue, and I have no more eye tape. I think recently I've been playing around with it because I have been looking at too many pictures of gyarus and circle lenses (I bought another couple pairs in violet and in blue!). I've been playing around with my mom's eye tape, and I notice that in order for it to look nice, I need to place it higher up. My sister noted that I look better with double eyelids, which doesn't make me that happy, since I've been trying out the monolid thing. I do like both, but at the same time I do feel weird about the whole thing, just like how I feel weird when I'm not wearing a push up bra (seriously, I feel insecure if my bra doesn't push me up. I do not own bras that are not push-up).

Monolids and double eyelids both have their advantages. Monolids look cleaner, but double eyelids look more awake (on me). Monolids are easier to maintain, but double eyelids are more comfortable, especially with regards to the eyelashes. In some ways, monolids look more dramatic, but double lids also has that potential, just tweak the makeup a little. Monolids are more haute couture and unique, but double eyelids are fashionable. I think doing makeup on either one is hard in their own way. Admittedly, monolids are more versatile, since you can create double eyelids on monolids, but I have yet to see double lids made into monolids. And double lids don't look good on everyone either; my sister looks better with monolids than with double, as proven with tape.

Oh wells. I have two eyes and I'll poke at them all I want to. *stab*
