LOL AWESOME

So today I walked around downtown, and I passed by Armani Exchange. I automatically said "Oooh, I know someone who just got hired here!" And as soon as I said that, I saw [info]deadsilent. LOL!

Anyways, yesterday my RE Practices (real estate Practice) class let out early, so I went out and bought some nail polish and hair glosser.

NAILS

I know that it's not popular to paint nails opaque white anymore (seeing that the trend was the year before last's spring), but I dunno, I tend to pick up on some trends late. I like it lots, and I think it really shows off the hands nicely (and I do think I have nice hands). Now they have a bit of a pink tone to them, because I washed my hair, and light nail polishes will pick up stains, but it's still a very pretty, pale pink.

Plus, I like the idea of white nails in winter. Reminds me so much of the snow queen. I think white in winter is awesome, as long as you keep everything covered up and on the heavier side (no chiffon!).

I do understand though that some people have an aversion to white nail polish, because it reminds them of white out. While I do understand that, I've also realized that if you can pull it off, then you can pull it off. It's like skinny jeans in that way (omg I love skinnies).

HAIR GLOSSER

I bought this at Sally's for a little less that $5. I tried it on today, since my hair has been getting crazy dry and more tangly, since it's getting longer and thinner from growing it out plus the intensive bleaching to platinum. I've been using a glossing mist to add more moisture, but I wanted something more. I tried this out this morning while I was in my shower (just a quickie!), and when I finished, I was pretty amazed. My hair actually dried quicker, and was softer and more manageable, even at the tips where it felt super rough. It was like a miracle. When I straightened my hair, there were no coarse bits. Just smoothy smooth hair.

Even while watching the Blue Angels at the wharf with the wind whipping around (and withstanding the mini sonic boom that caused many cars around me to sound their alarms because a plane decided to fly extra low), my hair did not tangle or become fluffy, but stayed sleek.

I'm addicted!
