Kanye West: In Therapy on Twitter?

Every rapper has a lot to say, but as usual, Kanye West wants to outdo them all. Since yesterday, in the span of a couple hours, the Grammy winner led his
Twitter followers down a winding road of musings -- and regrets -- posting dozens of tweets, many just minutes apart. Front and center in his thoughts: the anniversary of the night he highjacked Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 VMA's.
West not only apologized with an "I'm sorry Taylor" tweet, he empathized: "She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She's justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us." He pointed fingers: "We're both artist(s) and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalize off this is some way." He longed for closure: "I want to win...hearts back so I can continue to bring my take on culture to the masses."
He even made a peace offering: "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."
And he opened his heart about a whole lot more.
"There are people who don't dislike me... they absolutely hate me!" tweeted West, who seemed particularly wounded by media coverage of his behavior: "Man I love Twitter... I've always been at the mercy of the press but no more...The media tried to demonize me....They wanted yall to believe I was a monster in real life so you guys wouldn't listen or buy my music anymore....I feel like they were waiting for the opportunity to go in all the way on me and when it came they beat me to a pulp," adding, "Even now a lot of articles start...about how much of an asshole I am."
His running theme was self-awareness ("It is distasteful to cut people off as a general rule....What's the point of dressing tastefully if I'm going to act the complete opposite?") and a plea for retribution ("I've hurt, I've bled, I've learned. I only want to do good. I am passionate I am human I am real....I wish I could talk to every hater face to face and change there a opinion of me one conversation at a time"). More tweets:

I just stop to say he's an racist amoral trash!
Sandy, you are so right, If he was white and she was black everybody would be screaming racists. Now days if you look at a black you're labeled a racist.

Therapy won't help. Rubbing up against Beeber won't help. Rubbing up against Beeber, Miley Virus and Taylor Twit won't help. Don't waste your time. You had your 15 minutes of fame, the bell rang and its time for your bottle. Say night night Kayne.
Very well put, and to the point!!
"Look at A BLACK"? Are you serious? Or just plan stupid? I think you may be the one with race issues ... what Kanye did was wrong but it had nothing to due with race.
If we want to talk about race and celebrities--Mel Gibson, John Mayer, etc. ... I don't see their careers hurting. But Kanye West acts inappropriately, but not with racial undertones in regards to a white girl, and all-of-a-sudden his career is over. (according to you all)
If the tables were turned, (Taylor did what Kanye did to her), I bet people would say he deserved it and she would get more fans. That's what our country is made of...
Maybe if we all stopped letting race matter and/or affect how she see each other then stupid conversations like this wouldn't have to exist. Now I think I'll go and spread the word to 'a white' and see what they think about it...
WHAT HE DID TO TAYLOR SWIFT WAS DEFINATLY RACIST. HE IS A PUNK, A SISSY, AND I WISH HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT WHEN THERE WERE SOME "GOOD OL COUNTRY BOYS" THERE.
AN IGNORANT WORTHLESS PIECE OF DRUNKEN GARBAGE
GREAT MODEL FOR BLACK MEN

Great model for ANY men!!!
He who has not made mistakes let them be the first to cast a stone and Kayne. Wrong is wrong no matter the type so why are people so down on this man even now. I know that if every person who have made such derogatory remarks are just as guilty of wrong doings it's just that you are not a star like Kayne therefore your wrong doings go unmentioned.
This onslaught of tweets might be cathartic for him,but it's giving the rest of us a nasty cyber-migraine....

Does anyone else get annoyed when people baby Taylor Swift, saying she's just a "young girl", etc? "She doesn't have a great voice, but it's because she's young and she has to grow into it", "I know all her songs sound the same, but she's just a little girl, singing about boys".
She's almost 21 years old. Just because she writes songs like a 12 year old with her first crush, that doesn't mean she is one.

He should be in REAL therapy. What a loser!

NOPE! Don't think so!!! You still don't get it do you Mr. West. You made for good rag sheet gossip. It was fun while it lasted but just like what happened to Mike Tyson's, Tiger Woods and Michael Vick's career has happened to yours ... It's life and you had a nice run while it lasted... Be thankful for a life that others will never experience... Best wishes for what's next for you...

I couldn't have said it better myself, CJ. These are my sentiments exactly.
Well said!
Saw Taylor Swift on SNL. My word she was awful.
Kanye may have been right. Albeit graceless.

Think maybe you missed the point. It is not about her talent, or lack therefore, but about him being a conceited jerk!
