My Journey Through the Color Spectrum.

I’ve only recently started dabbling into the alternative hair coloring. The first time I attempted i tried something pretty subtle. I had long brown hair, white blonde highlights, & red streaks.

...Shortly after having the hair in the first picture, I wanted to try something a little differently. I ordered my first bottle of special effects bottle in “virgin rose”. Little did i know how well this stuff works. Figuring it would only dye the blonde in my hair because every other dye I had ever tried would only last up to barely a week, I put it all over my hair!
So I turned out to be an over all purple magenta with highlighter purple looking streaks…so pretty cool, I was happy with it.

I sectioned off the blonde on top of my hair. I started with a rat tail comb at right about the top of my ears and sectioned that off and clipped it on top of my head. I then used a dying brush and just painted the pink on the rest of the remaining hair…and that was the final product. Definitely my favorite project thus far.

...a year or so later I dyed my hair white blonde and this was my first dying experiment with that...

After the atomic pink, I decided just to put special effects “nuclear red” over the top of the pink. It turned it kind of a burgundy color, and after my second wash, it had a fading effect which actually turned out to be pretty cool. Shortly after that I had to dye my hair back to a natural color because of a job…but I ended up getting a wig so this wont be the last color journey for me. Expect more.
