In reviewing the top ten cities found to be the safest in the nation, I am proud to find that my home city is #2 (Chattanooga, TN). I have lived in the area for the past 4.5 years and find the city alive and well, with new companies building factories in the metro area and near by counties. I agree with all the other comments about traffic,Chattanooga has I-75 and I-24 merging in the area along with US 27, 11, and 41 passing through the area. This does not include the State routes. All in All,I find the area with many attractions for all ages.

So I invite all you all to stop by and sit a spell and enjoy our city

None of these safe havens is on anybody's hot list I'd say...lol.....
but a couple or three of them are downright scarey places on a
good day LOL...I stopped for gas in Iowa once and the clerk said it
meant "I Outta Went Around"...

Not surprised DC is accident prone! Lots of drunk Senators there!

can't believe Chatt. tn is on that list. They stop black
people for being black there.

DWB - driving while black? That's a crime in many places.

So this "study" concludes that where there are fewer vehicles, less congestion and little traffic that there are fewer collisions. BRILLIANT!!!

What a surprise! There aren't any Californian cities on that list. :P

Does anyone ever move TO those cities if their job doesn't require it?
They're all like a hot dog without anything on it.

The craziest place I've ever driven is Memphis.

Half of them are trying to go 80 and the other half are trying to go 50. It doesn't mix well.

After the light changes you'll need to wait for the 3 cars to run the red light before even thinking about entering the intersection.

How much of the insurance market share does Allstate have in these cities and how does it affect the percentages?
jasev01   6 hours ago (9:13 AM)
so lets see you are less likely to get in to an accident in Iowa.... well that would be because there are more cows than cars.

I wonder if anyone will move to any of these locations based on this odd choice of a study.
