TippingPoint has identified a vulnerability that affects Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2010.

 

This vulnerability was discovered by Andrea Micalizzi aka rgod and TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to run a code on your computer if your Trend Micro Internet Security Pro is at risk. This is caused by visiting a malicious page or by opening a malicious file.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

 

1.

Download the hot fix file.

 

 

2.

When the File Download window appears, click Desktop on the left pane as the location, then click Save.

 

 

3.

After you have downloaded the file, go to your desktop and double-click the TISPro_1750_win_en_hfb1695.exe file.

 

 

 

 

 

The hot fix will extract the files needed for the installation.

 

 

 

 

3.

Select I accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next.

 

 

 

 

4.

Click Install.

 

 

 

 

5.

Click Yes to update your software.

 

 

 

 

 

Note: While applying the hot fix, you may receive an error message:

 

 

 

 

 

“Your computer might be at risk.”

 

 

 

You may safely ignore this error while the hot fix is installing on your computer.

 

 

6.

Click OK to return to the previous window.

 

 

 

 

7.

Click OK to confirm that the installation is successful.

 

 

 

 

8.
