Pros: Very durable. I've dropped this numerous times, and after my last 5-day sailing-trip my girlfriend ended up with the ligth in the pocket of her windbreaker, and we needed to wash some bird-cr*p from it. She sourly after having washed it said "THIS was in my pocket, I'm sure its ruined" (sour with me for leaving it their and with herself for not checking the pockets) but lo and behold, it worked, battery and all.
So it would take some serious dunking I belive to make this light give up anyway. Its not divelight but it probably holds up for any rain and even being in small puddles or totally submerged for short periods.
Cons: A bit heavy, clicky or something else is misbehaving so that the torch doesnt always light up without unscrewung-rescrewing the cap or head!
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Good, cheap, what more do you want? If you need an ultra-reliable light, this is not probably for you though. If you need a very good light on a budget, it is!
Great little light. Best value for stainless.

Pros: Got 3 of these lights cuz I knew my friends would want one or two. Fit and finish are excellent. The stainless is attractive and more durable than an anodized finish. All mine have solid clickies, clean threads, and don't rattle or blink when shaken using a AA battery.
Cons: Lanyards were attached with the string over the rear edge, causing the lights to lean while tailstanding. Easily fixed by re-routing the string around the outside edge through the two holes instead. Tailstands perfectly now.
Bottomline: This light is compact, not too heavy, uses common AA batteries, has a good run time, and provides plenty of light for everyday use. An excellent EDC light.
Nice for the money, but not a Q5

Pros: It's very nice looking, and quite well made (externally). Mine doesn't have the gap some people mention. The low is very low which will please some people, the high looks in the region of 50 lumens to me. GITD button and o-rings are a nice touch. It will tail stand.
Cons: It's not a Q5 as advertised. I think it's a P4 but I'm not sure, I am sure it's too small to be a Q5. The threads are a little rough, but not to the point of being a problem.
Other Thoughts: I wish these still had Q5's in them like they're supposed to have. The small spot and lower output make it less useful than the one I bought when they did have Q5's in them.
Bottomline: Well worth the money. A nice looking light that would appeal to both men and women as a gift. DX should change the specs to state what emitter is actually in it.
Solid one!

Pros: It's well made flashlight, its really well machined, threads are good. The reflector is well-centered and it is crystal clear. The clicky and o-ring's are glowing in dark witch is nice. It feels heavy and robust. The switch is deep enough to avoid unintentional swithcing.
Cons: The clicky switch doesnt seem to be robust. It can switch when you press it full way, or it can switch mode when you press it half way. But when you touch it lightly (unintentionali) it makes beam flicker.
The led is not CREE Q5, i know thing or two about the led's, The brightes is not as advertised (190-Lumen)
The Cree XR-E Q5 (bin) led has 3 segment emmiter with 2 golden wires leading to anode and 2 golden wires leading to cathode see picture:

The led on flashlight I received is with far smaller emmiter with 1 wire for anode and 1 wire for cathode. It is a 2 segment die.

Other Thoughts: The regulator has memory whitch is nice, 5 modes HI-MID-LO-STROBE-SOS.
The regulator makes quite lot of noise when regulating MID & LO but that's within normal limits.
Bottomline: It's well worth the price, the brightness of flashlight is acceptable, and it is fully useable and robust product, but I received no Cree Q5 nor 190 Lumens as advertised.
Excelent product for modification. Put real emmiter inside and it should be perfect 5 star flashlight
