LOL Fanime
I remembered that I bought tickets for Fanime this year.
I think the timing is great, since I'm going to have a lot of free time starting Thursday, since I am resigning from Google!
Originally, I was going to sell the badges, but since we're playing with the idea of road tripping to LA in a few weeks, I thought it would be a good idea to actually... you know, go.
With that said, throwing up some fun, quick, cheap cosplay ideas!
It's been a while since I had an actual costume, and some fun and cheap couple ones are:
Domo-kun and a cat. Me being Domo. Everyone at Fanime knows this joke. Enough said. I think I'll make it so Alex and I can switch out when one of us gets too hot.
Pucca and Garu. Less known, but extremely cute. I would LOVE to do the mascot version.
Soel and Larg Mokona. Quick and easy. I like the idea of making a hoodie for Alex... since he is KNOWN at work for wearing not only a light/cream hoodie, but ACTUALLY WEARING THE HOOD UP. AND wearing it in ridiculous weather, just like Oaggin. I think I'm going to make the outfits reflective of our own styles.
Gyaru and gyaruo. I know that Sarah and I wanted to be gyarus for Fanime and rock out the crazy deep fake tans and elaborate clothes and makeup. I still REALLY want to do it.
