Image Solutions Ltd is a photography and video production house established by Alex Hofford in Hong Kong in 1997. Since that date, Alex has carried out many assignments across the region, having worked variously in China, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Tibet, Siberia, Japan, Indonesia, West Papua, Laos, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Burma, North and South Korea. For Alex, Asia provides a rich and colourful backdrop for shooting, whether it be for corporate, editorial, or news assignments.

In addition, Image Solutions Ltd has also undertaken a considerable amount of video production, which has included shooting corporate videos, a documentary for the National Geographic Channel, and some work for CNN and the BBC.

Currently, Alex covers Hong Kong, Macau and the Southern China region for the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA), and has most recently been published by; The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Magazine, The International Herald Tribune, BBC Online, The Guardian and The Observer.

As well as carrying out editorial work, Image Solutions Ltd has various corporate, fashion and luxury brand clients in Hong Kong.

Alex is British, was raised in Cambridge, and educated in London.
