Source of the outbreak(s) or origin of infection
  • Unknown or inconclusive
Epidemiological comments A movement restriction in an area within a radius of 10 km around outbreak in Kunitomi-cho Higashimorokata-gun 1 was lifted on 8 July 2010. The absence of the disease was demonstrated by serological surveillance targeted at all susceptible animals kept within a radius of 3 km around the outbreak and in epidemiologically related farms as well as by clinical surveillance targeted at all susceptible animals in the area.
