why’d they have to go and make the same ending…..I’m still curious as to who the heck the robot and girl are at the beginning.

I can see the last episode’s ending scene already… Tomoya with Ushio in his hands while the snow falls…Scene switches back over to the “other world” with the explanation of the “light” and who the “girl” is…Finally the scene where Nagisa is walking past Tomoya but this time he calls out… Happy End Sequence :D

Maybe that is Ushio…

Well I’m basing off the game… if the series ends at ep22/23 thats plenty of time for the “Happy End”… I mean if the OP of the first anime is indicative of whats going to happen then I’m assuming they are going for the “Happy End” as they did with Kannon 2006.

well, Clannad was 22 ep with one bonus and an OAD (Tomoyo)… so i’m not too sure about 24 total eps…

Just out of curiosity, was there ever an ending in the game where Nagisa, Tomoya, and Ushio all lived happily ever after?

I suppose this makes things more interesting. I was getting a little bored with the domesticity of this anime, to be honest, and was starting to wonder just what they were going to do with the half a dozen or so episodes left.

And I agree with Andylol, the ending theme song jarred with the concluding scene of this episode.

NGE ending isn’t bad, it’s just incomplete. If you watch “The End of Evangelion” you’ll fully understand the ending.

Now RahXephon had a pretty freaking ending xD. One of my favorites but still a bad bad ending.

Kyoto Animation will give us a good ending.
