Description
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Wireshark, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service). 1) A NULL pointer dereference error exists within the SMB dissector. 2) A stack overflow error exists within the ASN.1 BER dissector. 3) A NULL pointer dereference error exists within the SMB PIPE dissector. Note: This may only affect platforms where "vsnprintf()" crashes when handling NULL pointers. 4) An infinite loop exists within the SigComp Universal Decompressor Virtual Machine. 5) An off-by-one error exists within the SigComp Universal Decompressor Virtual Machine.
