When thinking of war and peace, the "comfort women" cannot be forgotten.
Try considering this issue not as passive onlookers observing a gender issue
that is yesterday's news, but rather as our own problem as human beings.

If you were in the place of a women, and conversely if you were in the place of a man?
If a war broke out tomorrow and your country became occupied?
If a war broke out tomorrow, and you were enlisted (or became a prisoner of war)?

For the untold war, come and open this page of untold history.

Guest Speaker: Michiko Nakahara
Professor Emerita, Waseda University
Co-Representative, Violence Against Women in War Network Japan
Director, Women’s Fund for Peace and Human Rights (NOP)
