Some of you have asked about the mysterious 'Changed EULA' that appeared in the changelog for Unix in the last snapshot. This is part of an effort from Opera to make it easier to distribute Opera in the package repositories of various open source operating systems. Ruari has more information about that on his blog.

Newer Opera doesn't have good KDE look'n'feel integration. Please, fix it to reach the 10.10 version's standard before RC comes out.

OK...I will ask this way, what do you want me to say in that bug report?
Opera don't do antialiasing fonts on Linux/Unix platform
PS: Not my job.

As such, whilst in all likelihood a recent snapshot will 'probably' be better in terms of features and fixes it has the potential to be more broken.
10.53-6330 was put out as a snapshot and underwent detailed testing internally to ensure that new bugs and/or regressions were introduced (i.e. the only problems present where ones which had already been there). Once we were satisfied on these counts we upped it status to Beta.
P.S. If you think we should have an FAQ that explains all of this, we do:

Exactly what you are incorrectly reporting here. For example you have provided your settings and a screen shot. Why not post them in a bug report?@all: It has been said numerous times but I will repeat it again. These comments are not for reporting bugs. They never have been. Bugs should be reported in the bug wizard. If you haven't reported them there then you simply haven't reported them, no matter what you have said in these comments.
So what are the comments sections for? Quick feedback, which could be:
1. Commenting on what you like or don't like when we have new features.
2. Checking with other users if an issue you have seen is actually a bug or has already been reported.
3. Checking and commenting if any bugs that are listed as fixed are indeed fixed for you.
4. Answering specific questions from the person who writes the blog post?
etc....
There is nothing wrong with also mentioning a bug here as long as you also reported it. Indeed it can help if you mention the bug number you received when you reported it.

search the selected text with the "search" in the context menu does not open a new tab (ubuntu 10.04 and ubuntu 9.10)
with opera 10.50 the search result was opened in a new tab, this was more comfortable.

Opera is almost unusable with Flash stuff (Flash 10.0.45.2ubuntu1, the one from Ubuntu repo):
1. often embedded flash objects don't respond to user clicks.
2. On Youtube, if I click to move the video time cursor (dunno the exact name) to another position, when I release the left mouse button (LMB), it keeps to follow the mouse cursor, like if the LMB was still pressed.
3. Facebook Flash games are unplayable (e.g. Farmville), because the game cursor position is elsewhere the actual mouse cursor position.
none of these issues affect other browsers.
Focus issues:
1. Sometime I can't type in text fields and I can't get focus even if I click them. If I switch tab a couple of times, often I can get the focus. I was unable to login here too, when I clicked the "login" link in the blog top bar, because of this problem. I was able to login only because I stored the password, and I clicked the wand (now a key) button.
2. If I switch the spellchecker dictionary or I use it, the textarea loses focus (it happens in this blog too), even if the cursor keeps to blink in the text area.
Panels:
On notes, copy and paste contestual menu doesn't work (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V works)

I tried to use IBus method input (I had hope, that I can put russian letters in Opera window), but it didn't help me. I've stopped the IBus service. After that I closed Opera. Crash report in backtrace:

Tell me directly if you are going to fix it this year or not. The bug is in bug wizzard many times. Am I the only one who cares about this bug?

Me too. Page..Open and Page...Save As - functions requiring KDE dialogs - are causing this build of Opera to crash for me, as of the last 3+ builds.
Anyone else?

I consider this very bad, but it isn't really a bug, is it? Should I fill a bug report?
