Power hitting outfielder who is also blessed with excellent speed considering his size ... All-America candidate and one of the top hitters in the Atlantic Coast Conference ... A first-team pre-season All-America pick by Baseball America heading into the 2003 season ... Is expected to anchor the middle of the Tech order this spring ... Shows a good eye at the plate while hitting for big power numbers ... Has worked hard to improve his defense since arriving at Tech three years ago, and has developed into a more than capable left fielder.

Has been equally successful during the last two summers while playing for Wareham in the Cape Cod Baseball League, helping lead the Gatemen to the league championship in both seasons ... Earned the Pat Sorenti Award as the league MVP in 2001 and was tabbed as the Cape's No. 3 prospect by Baseball America after hitting .324, second in the league, with a league-best 28 RBI and was 19-for-19 on stolen base attempts ...
