Most of you will already be aware of the request Shueisha made and Raw-Paradise closing its doors.
As a result Mangahelpers also changed their policy.
I'll refer to the Mangahelpers post about this ordeal(no reason to duplicate it here):

There will not be any change on this site, not unless I receive a request for removing content.
What I did change was blocking all IP's coming from Japan.
Users coming from there are only here for the reason to download the raws instead of buying them.
Blocking Japanese IP's isn’t a direct result from all this commotion. It’s been something that’s been on my to-do list since day one and took me about 10 minutes to add.
On a side note, someone mentioned in the shout box that by the closing of Raw-Paradise this site might get some more members. Now, most of the traffic that Raw-Paradise was getting isn’t what I’m after. Almost all their traffic came from Japan – Totally not what I’m after.
The day Raw-Paradise closed the traffic went up about 10%, in the past traffic coming from Japan was a little less than 20%.
I would also like to remind everyone 'the reason' this site was founded.
The original idea when the site was founded 3 years ago was this:
"Bring people scanlations on a 'no nonsense' site. Mainly targeted at people having a hard time using IRC or for groups using rapidshare / megaupload and the likes as those links don’t stay active.”
This is still the case, it's extremely easy to get manga from here.
The raws here are an 'extra', I'm amazed on how much raws the uploaders were able to make available, as I never really added many and in my mindset was not the primary reason for starting this site – That being said, everyone downloading raws should be thanking the extra effort the uploaders are putting in!
The server was down for a while.
Was unaware of the problem as I was not home, was fixed a couple of hours ago.
Everything is up and running again.
