ever since i was young my friends would comment on my looks or the way i dressed and say "you look like keisha cole" or "you look like christina milian" when i look nothing like them at all.
I used to be so confused when people said I looked like Beyonce it was just like they picked any random black celebrity and told me I looked like them, i had noticed this has been said to a numerous black friends of mine...
has anyone had the same experience?

- Well, let's see. I think blacks look alike but not identical. Blacks have black hair, dark eyes, dark skin, same nose and lips. Whites: Born with many hair colors, variety of eye colors, different hair textures, noses, lips. The reason for this is because whites come from many countries: Irland, Germany, Scotland, Poland, Australia , etc. That's why there are many differences in whites.
- White people think every minority looks the same. I can't tell you how much I've been told that Asians all look alike. Um, if they actually looked at several of us without going "slanty eyes, black hair=same!", they'd see that we have more diverse facial features than they do. Blacks have more diverse facial features than whites too. It's just the various eye and hair colors that makes them think they're unique.

I've had Eddie Murphy, Danny Glover, Michael Jordan, the singer named Joe, Paul who was in Eastenders, and one or 2 more i can't even remember, but I suppose we look for familiarity in things we see in the world, but i suppose the analogy i would use is that some folk if you play the same track to them a Hundred times they will hear nothing different, and it's because they are not open to what they hear, and I suppose it's notdissimilarr to what people see in the world, and for the ignorant it's easier to use the expression ''well they all look the same to me'', and i would ask that same individual do you look the same as your brother or your next door neighbour who is the same colour as you.

No, i don't think they look the same. They were probly trying to be polite and flattering by saying you look like certain black women who are considered beautiful.
Dunno if this makes me racist, but i find Asian ppl look the same except the southern ones with darker skin and bigger eyes. - I think you notice details more within your own race. It's easy to say that all black, white, asians, etc. look the same...because they mostly do when you think about it...it's just the details that people gloss over.
I look at white people sometimes and think they look really similar. - I don't think it is the chicks that look all the same it is more of the male race that does.
