A LARGE SILVERY-BRONZE OCTALOBED MIRROR
TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
The central knob surrounded by a pair of phoenixes to the sides, a galloping horse above trailing grapevine from its mouth, and a parrot pecking at a cluster of grapes on a vine below, with opposing pairs of flower sprigs, clouds, lanterns and flower heads enclosing the characters qian and chiu in the lobes of the rim
