I used Garnier Nutrisse #111 Extra Light Ash Blonde (White Chocolate)
Yeah. My hair color before was very dark brown with subtle hints of red, close to black.
The last dye that I used is Clairol Balsam #618 Black. This product gave me a nice natural shade of black unlike two other brands that I used in the past (I was going for the fake black look at the time). The only problem with black dye is it's quite difficult to wash off your skin.

When you got that light brown color from the "very dark brown", was that dark brown your natural color or was that also dyed? (I'm assuming dyed since you said you have hints of red, but...dunno?
Because I got my hair dyed a brown-ish color at the end of June, I want to get a lighter color probably around the holidays, but my hairdresser said you can't get a lighter color over a DYED darker color. So even though my hair is black (or super dark brown, whatever) naturally and could've gotten a super light color dying undyed hair, she said I shouldn't be able to dye a lighter brown over the brown I originally got. o_o
But then she said I might as well try it, because even though it's not supposed to work, it works like that for one of her friends all the time
