iPod touch でスクリーンショットを撮る方法

iPhone だと Home ボタンとロックボタンを同時に押すとスクリーンショットが撮れるというのを聞いてiPhone はカメラついてるからこの機能あるんだないいなあと思っていたら、実は iPhone 2.0 Software Update for iPod touch がいれてあれば iPod touch でもこのスクリーンショットを撮るという機能が使えました。
Built-in Screen Capture Utility: With the iPhone 2.0 software installed, hold down the Home button and press the Lock button and your screen will flash―and an image of your phone's screen gets saved to your Camera Roll's images.
iPod touch ではてっきりできないものと思っていたので、さりげなくやってみたらできるじゃないですか。素晴らしい。画面の説明などでデジカメで撮ってというのがどうにかならないかなあと思っていましたが、これならばっちりです。
Google Maps で出先の地図を出してそのまま Home + ロックボタンでスクリーンショットを撮って、保存しておけば印刷しないでも地図として使えます。Wi-fi が無くでも写真として入れてしまえば見れるわけですね。iPod touch でこそ必要な機能かもしれません。保存した写真は写真の中の保存した写真というフォルダに入ります。
