About Me

Hello,
My name is Haegwan Kim, English-Speaking people call me Kim.
I'mKorean, born in Japan, speak English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
It is a pleasure for me to start this blog because recently I see many bloggers hugely influence our society and I'm full of hope that I will be the one of them. Currently I am a 1st year undergraduate student at the University of Warwick (Politics and International Studies Degree) and mainly engage in two activities.

1. Recruiting members for Power of Undergrads, which is on-line based academic platform by undergrads and of undergrads. For more information, you can visit our site from here.
2. Researching socio-economic movements of East Asia which will play a pivotal role to change the world in the 21st century. To improve my perspective, I joined East Asia Study Group, which composed of Ph.D Students who interested in this area as well.

Basically I open my research upon East Asia in this blog, hope I get many advices from readers around the world and have fun with you!

Lastly I want to talk about my dream, that is, to change the world a better place. So I also hope I will see people who can share this dream or even who disagree with it in this blog.

With Respect for all the people in this world

Hello Kim. I'm Mona. I'll check your blog from time to time. It just sounds interesting. I think I'll find a lot to learn about East Asia here.

Regards.

Hello Mona.

Thank you! you did the first comment in this blog!
I will do my best for the research on East Asia.
As my first language is not English, I'm pleasure if you point it out when I mistake grammer, misspell and so on .

Hope you gonna enjoy it!

Kim, all the best in your research.

I'm not a native speaker of English too. But I find your English pretty good =] Your English will be perfect as long as you live in Britain.

To be honest, the other thing that interested me about your blog is that I see you here speaking in 4 languages. I'm studying linguistics and the translation between Arabic and English (plus, self-studying Japanese). No wonder I'm interested in this blog.

Good luck in your research, again.

Mona, thanks a lot for your comment.

That's exactly what I aimed! I mean, I have not seen someone doing blog in four languages (yea sure).
Although it is quite difficult to manage it, I think I can do it because of that recently many people, like you, cheered me up. It becomes huge power for me.

Anyway, thanks again.

It looks to me that you're a hard-working guy. So, yes! You can do it, Kim.

I'm glad that I said something encouraging you. I, in return, am inspired by your effort here. I think I should work harder in my study!

Sharing one of my thoughts: I've never thought that someday I'll call someone "Kim," in reality. The only Kim I know is the Korean absent central character in my novel. You have to read it when it's published in English, or even Korean^^

Nice to talk to you, Kim, and I wish you all the best, again.
