Hi all!!

Thanks to the great effort of the PNHT team, we were able to Hack Nokia N97 v20!
A big thank to all PNHT members and especially Szakalit Smiley
Also a big thank to Beta Testers Smiley

HACK (Edited):

This hack is for N97 RM-505 506 507 v20.0.019 or V20.0.027 and V21.0.045

INSTALLATION:

Follow the same procedure in this thread (You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login
NOKIA 5800 V40 HACK BY PNHT
) for installing JAF, Navifirm, firmware download and flashing procedure. Note that you need to download the correct files for your correct RM (ex:505).



N97 V20 users should download one of these files hosted on different servers:

You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login
rapidshare v20.0.027

You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login
depositfiles v20.0.027


You are not allowed to view links.
Register or Login

N97 V21 users should download one of these files hosted on different servers:

Once downloaded, copy the file to your firmware files location (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-505\) and flash your phone.

If JAF doesn't detect your phone, download this file (You are not allowed to view links.

JAF inifile
) to your JAF install location (ex:c:\program files\odeon\JAF). you may also download it form this thread.

EDIT:

Since many users are reporting problems with JAF and since others were successful using Phoenix, our friend Parotz created a little tutorial on how to flash using Phoenix. He also included the programs to download.

It isn't possible to flash with phoenix as it checks the checksum of the file, and at that point, the flashing fails. Maybe there is a way to disable this check, I'm not so good in Phoenix Cheesy

if you look at the file name, it's RM505_507_20.0.019_uda_1_001.uda.fpsx. So you see, 505, 507. I've also downloaded the files from Navifirm and they are the same for 505, 506,507.

So there should be any problem if you don't do anything wrong during flashing!

The number of beta testers isn't important once one succeed flashing the phone and confirm working hack Wink

fw21 needs a tester Wink why don't you be one??

For those who JAF doesn't detect their phone model, please download "jaf_nok4models.zip" from first post, extract the file inside and replace original file in JAF installation directory with the  new downloaded file
