Partick Thistle 1-4 Dunfermline

Substitute Joseph Cardle grabbed a second half hat-trick as Dunfermline rolled Partick Thistle over at Firhill.

The game came to life three minutes after the interval when Cardle latched onto a Greg Ross cross to drill home from the edge of the penalty area.

Cardle then fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner from 20 yards and slotted in from David Graham's centre.

Calum Woods netted Dunfermline's fourth late on but there was time for Jags' Liam Buchanan to pull one back.

Partick Thistle: Tuffey, Paton (Erskine 66), Robertson, Maxwell, Archibald, Conroy (Lovell 46), Rowson, Shields, Cairney, Corcoran, Donnelly (Buchanan 54). Subs Not Used: Halliwell, Corrigan.
