Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending four people allegedly involved in a kidnapping and robbery that took place January 15, 2010, at approximately 5:00 a.m. on the Strip, near Flamingo.
According to police, the victim was returning to his hotel when he was confronted on a pedestrian overpass by a male and a female.
The suspects allegedly forced the victim at gunpoint to get in their vehicle. The victim was taken to an unknown apartment where he was confronted by two additional suspects. They beat him for a day, then forced the victim to give them his bank account numbers and also took his jewelry and credit cards.
The suspects withdrew money from his account then want the victim to open casino credit lines and give them the money. The suspects put the victim in a vehicle and while en route to the Las Vegas Blvd. the suspects begin to argue about what to do with him. That's when he managed to escape.
The victim was held captive for approximately 24 hours and was, eventually, able to escape. He has been identified only as a 40 year old business owner. He was treated for cuts and bruises, and returned home.
While captured, two of the suspects also, reportedly, burglarized the victim's hotel room.
Suspect 1: black female, 22-27 years old, 5'5", med. build, short Afro dyed red in front
Suspect 2: black male, 45-50 years old, 5'11", med. build, white hat, eye glasses, gray beard
Suspect 3: black male, 27-33 years old, 6'2", med. build, bald, well dressed.
Suspect 4: black female, 37-44 years old, 5'11", heavy build, long black hair, well dressed.
