伊藤美由紀: 愛知県立芸術大学、マンハッタン音楽院修士課程(NY)、コロンビア大学博士課程(NY)修了。芸術音楽博士(DMA)。寺井尚行、ピエール・シャルベ、トリスタン・ミュライユの各氏に師事。文化庁芸術家在外研修員として、IRCAM（フランス国立音響研究所）にて研鑽を積む。神奈川県合唱曲作曲コンクール、アボット室内楽作曲コンクール(ボストン)、Boris & Edna Rapoport賞(NY)、名古屋文化振興賞、日本交響楽振興財団作曲賞入選など、受賞。ハーモニアオペラカンパニー（NY）、コロンビアシンフォニエッタ(NY)、東京オペラシティ、ミュージックフロム・ジャパン（NY）、アタックシアター（ピッツバーグ）による作品委嘱ほか、カーネギーホール（NY）、レゾナンス・フェスティヴァル(パリ)、ISCM世界音楽の日々(香港)、国際コンピューター音楽会議（マイアミ）、SMC07(ギリシャ)、Re:New08（デンマーク）をはじめ、世界各国の現代音楽祭で作品が演奏される。ゲラルド・オーシタフェローシップとともにカリフォルニア・ジェラシ・アーティストレジデンシー(2005)にて創作活動。「Fading Memories…」が、関澤真由美マリンバソロアルバムCD「My Favorite Things」(AUCD-13)に収録。2009年、ライブエレクトロニクス作品に焦点をあてた作曲家作品集アルバム「時の砂」 (ALCD80)リリース。２０１０年は、フランコ・エヴァンゲリスティ国際コンクール（ローマ）優勝作品「古代の息吹をしのぶ。。」が、Suvini Zerboni（ミラノ）から出版、国際交流基金助成によりメキシコ市でオニックス・アンサンブルにより新作初演予定。NymphéArt（ニンフェアール）、日米作曲家グループ：JUMP（日米：新しい音楽の展望）企画代表。現在、名古屋芸術大学、愛知県立芸術大学、千葉商科大学にて教鞭をとる。
 

Miyuki ITO, a native of Nagoya, Japan, received B.A. from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music (Japan), M.A. from the Manhattan School of Music (NY), and D.M.A. from Columbia University (NY), studying with Naoyuki Terai, Pierre Charvet and Tristan Murail.  She pursued research at IRCAM (Paris) with an artist grant from the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan.  Her works have been performed at festivals and venues across the globe, including Centre Acanthes (France), ISCM (Hong Kong), Résonances (IRCAM), ICMC (Miami), Spark Festival (Minnesota), SMC (Greece) and Re:New (Denmark).  She had received commissions from Harmonia Opera Company (NY), Columbia Sinfonietta (NY), Tokyo Opera City (Japan), Taketoyo Opening Concert Hall Committee (Japan), Music From Japan (NY) and Attack Theater (Pittsburgh).  Her recent awards include the Nagoya Cultural Promotion Agency Prize (Japan), Japan Symphony Foundation Prize and Concorso di Composizione Franco Evangelisti 1st Prize (Rome).  She has been a fellow at the Djerassi Artist Residency in California with an Oshita Fellowship.  She currently teaches at the Nagoya University of Arts, the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and Chiba Commerce University in Japan.  Ito is a co-founder and producer of the composer collectives NymphéArt and JUMP (Japan-USA: Musical Perspectives).  She released The Sands of Time, focused on works with live electronics on ALCD80 in 2009.  Réminiscence d’un ancien esprit has scheduled to be published on Edizioni Suvini Zerboni (Milan, Italy).
