Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret Magazine is announcing that a live-action adaption of the manga Kimi ni Todoke has been green-lit.

Karuho Shiina's high school slice-of-life series serialization started back in 2005. It's 10th volume is to be released this month in Japan.



The story follows the story of a high school girl, Sawako Kuronuma. A girl with such long black hair and pale skin that leads to other kids calling her the name of Sadako. Mostly known from the original "The Ring" films. Her life starts to change after receiving little help from the popular boy, Kazehaya and other classmates.

A little bit ago, in the MangaHelpers IRC channel, we announced the winner of the One Piece volume zero giveaway! But I thought it'd be a bit boring for it to end like that! So along with announcing the winner in this news post, I wanted to get a super special guest to announce the winner!
