Frank Carroll and Midori Ito Inducted Into
World Figure Skating Hall of Fame

The original ice dance event at the 2007 ISU World Figure Skating Championships had concluded and there was a one-hour break before the men’s final. But no one was leaving the building. The aisles were empty and there was nary a vacant seat in the house. Everyone wanted to acknowledge two great icons of the sport as they were inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

And when Frank Carroll and Midori Ito stepped onto the red carpet and walked to center ice to receive their medals and plaques, the audience responded with a resounding standing ovation.
