Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in Wordpad and Office text converters when parsing Word 97 documents. This can be exploited to corrupt memory by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted file.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
