Virus Protect Pro (VirusProtect Pro 3.9) Removal Instructions
December 3rd, 2008 | by Alex |Virus Protect Pro Descriptions:
Virus Protect Pro, VirusProtect Pro 3.9, is the latest counterfeit anti-spyware software that endangers the world of computers. VirusProtect 3.9 usually installed itself onto your PC without your permission, through Zlob.Trojan, Virus or fake software. VirusProtect will display fake system alerts or fake security alerts to trick user to buy the paid version of VirusProtect, in order to remove the potential and reported problems. It’s believed that VirusProtect is a new variant of SpyLocked and SpyCrush. Not only does it slow down your machine dramatically, it would also put your privacy and data in danger.
It is extremely important to remove VirusProtect from your computer. You can try our recommended SpyHunter* Spyware Detection Utility, which is very intuitive and highly efficient. VirusProtect can be removed automatically. However, if you are familiar with registry edit and dll files in Windows, we strongly recommend you to try the VirusProtect manual removal instructions. It might take time and patience, but it is equally effective if you get it right.
As always, we will constantly update the instructions to combat against VirusProtect and its variants. Please feel free to post comments if you have any questions or suggestions regarding VirusProtect. This is a great community and I am sure that you would find the answers. Good luck!

Wish I found this website earlier, then I wouldn’t have to spend the money on another software.

I removed the “virusprotect 3.9″ spy with smitfraudfix.
This removed the fsehfcu.dll , the
program files /helper /video-add on /virus-protect 3.9
folders with data .
So the virus-protect 3.9 is just a fake , but
it looked like real software . I dont know how one
can come to this . Thats a good joke .
a happy new year 08 .

I got the VirusProtect after loading a video codec. I used SmitRem, and it cleared up much, but left the Zlob.Trojan. SpyHunter 3 cleared this up nicely (I hope).
This nasty little bug changed permissions in my /Local Settings folder, making 23 gigs of data invisible to me, (but not to folder options). Full system scans took over 6 hrs to complete until I found the problem. I had to go to Microsoft support and learn how to gain acces to the C:System Volume Information folder, and how to move/delete/reinstall the Temporary Internet Files folder.
I use BitDefender Internet Security 2008, and it only found 4 of the 170 infections, then couldn’t delete them because they were in archived files. The techies at BD had no clue about this bug, and had me running in circles for over a week.
So glad to be rid of this one!
