11月13日 ビジネス女性大賞授賞式

11月13日にビジネス女性大賞の授賞式がニューヨークにて開催されました。
そして、先日ご紹介したファイナリストから、今年もスティービー賞が誕生しました。受賞されたのは、岡正子デザインオフィス様の「ECOMACO®」です。写真は、授賞式で喜びの岡正子様（左から2人目）です。
受賞カテゴリは、43．最優秀女性ビジネス団体（ Women's Business Association of the Year ） になります。

昨日、岡様と電話で話す機会がありましたが、トウモロコシの繊維で作ったドレスを着用しているとコメントしたところ、会場で取り囲まれ、話題をさらったとのことです。
以下に岡様の受賞コメントを紹介させていただきます。

“Thank you very much.
I am very happy to be able to get such a wonderful and honorable award.

Today, we are dressed in my fashion brand, ECOMACO, using biodegradable materials such as Japanese paper,　bamboo, soybeans, and corn starches.

Do you think the dresses are beautiful?

I have been working on Ecological Fashion for 10 years and held Fashion Shows in more than 10 countries to convey importance of the Sustainable Society from the Fashion Industry, using Green resources which we can harvest every year.

I would appreciate it, if you could help us introduce Ecological Fashion with futuristic materials created from vegetable matters and starches to the world.

The Steview Awards make me feel appreciated and encourage me to create environmentally friendly clothing and serve earth's and people's needs.

Again, I would like to thank you all involved this time.“

また米国事務局からのレターによると、過去最高の330人を超える参加者を集め、会場はとても混雑し、そして活況を呈していたとのことです。
