Notes Left Behind is a very personal journal written by the parents of Elena Desserich for Elena's younger sister. Elena died of cancer at the age of six, but during her brief appearance on earth she moved many people around her. Her most magical gift was that of leaving little notes and drawings everywhere, knowing that they wouldn't be discovered until after she'd gone. Notes Left Behind includes many of those notes and pictures.
