o The travelling international exhibit Gandhi, King, Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace will be open to the public from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Huntsville High School library. Featuring colourful photographs, inspiring quotes, and information, the exhibit focuses on the lives of Indian Hindu Mohandas K. Gandhi, American Christian Martin Luther King, Jr. and Japanese Buddhist Daisaku Ikeda. There is no cost to view the exhibit.
November 7
o United Church Women of the Knox United Church in Port Sydney will be hosting their Snowflake Bazaar and Bake Sale at the Port Sydney Community Centre from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will also be available for $8. There will be crafts and home-baked goods tables and much more.
November 8
o A documentary called With One Voice will be showing at the Algonquin Theatre at 2 p.m. and refreshments will be served. This compelling, life-affirming film addresses the profound questions about the meaning of life, love, the existence of God and the path to spiritual awakening. o Learn to make healthy comfort foods with staff from Ahimsa at the Robinson’s Independent Grocer’s community room. The menu will feature vegetarian soups and stews and grains. The class takes place between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. and costs $30 plus GST. Call 789-0367.

o A Christmas Craft Sale will take place at the Huntsville Legion from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and all proceeds will go to the Cancer Society.
