How I got my Hair Color *o*

Ok..Blogspot Fked up big time. (-_-" )

Now I can add videos...but I CAN'T ADD IMAGES?!

...

Anyways... Here's a craze!!!
*and no..they aren't paying me to advert this on my blog xDD~*
I LOVE J.D stuff soo much.

With the price of shoes nearly that of a COACH bag...
And dresses that is nearly as expensive as a Vuitton wallet.....

THIS IS "GENRE WEAR"
*a term I coined to describe such indie-genre-specific-
bordering-on-subculture Fashion*
AT ITS BEST!

Though the price is obviously not something I can ever approve,
but the quality is worth every bit the money. *thumbsup!*

If I ever want to start a Street Subcultural Genre designer line in Japan?
 I'll go closely to this.

*~*~**~**~***~*~*~*~*~~**~~**~*~*~*~*~~*~*~**~~*

I was walking around ION last weekend...

Meetup with Neko, Spidey & the Zoo Gang for dinner =3

Was buying my Majo-majo * MAJORLICA-MAJORCA* Mascara....

When the lady incharge asked me with big curious eyes :

"How did you do this hair color?"

THAT was the fifth time yesterday O_O

Seems like this sorta fashion colour is making a comeback here.

'Coz after her, I encountered another 5 pplz who asked me the SAME thing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are seriously considering this color, some words of advice:
Unless you are ready to compromise
your hair condition...*sobs*
I highly discourage you from doing this hair color..
Its going to get dry. Be prepared.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALTERNATIVELY
If you want it done reallyy well & not damage your hair as much??
Look for this BRAND of colors @ Salons.

I used to think its an "AUNTIE" brand...
HELL NO hahha....its not!

Its from GERMANY -like most hair colors-
I can personally assure its authenticity + quality.

They are launching a NEW RANGE of BLEACH
that is MUCH LESS DAMAGING than normal bleach & look the same!

~ Special Thanks to Goldwell for the color correction! =3 ~

*~*~**~**~***~*~*~*~*~~**~~**~*~*~*~*~~*~*~**~~*

Here's what happened:

STEP 1 : BLEACHING
This depends on how dark/light your original color already was.

1. If its Virgin hair (meaning never dyed before) :
Bleach @ 6%
TWO Seperate TIMES.

Do NOT Bleach 12% at ONCE. It will literally KILL your hair.
Most hairstylists will do that <-- because its CHEAPER for them.

2. Pre-dyed hair (if its already quite light) :
Bleach @ 6% ONCE will be enough.

If you Bleach twice? Good luck.
Your hair color looks faded - and washes off too easily.

*bleached "NAKED" hair is NOT WHITE ('口') its BLONDE!*
...

STEP 2 : TONING COLOR
Once your hair is "naked" Its up to you what kindda colour you want to put in.
I put in COPPER (K) mix with abit of BROWN (B).

It will turn out looking rather ORANGEY at first...

NOT RED. <--if you see RED right after she told you its done. She's wrong.

Then after a few washes at home, it will fade down...
and slowly gets to  Light BROWN.

*~*~**~**~***~*~*~*~*~~**~~**~*~*~*~*~~*~*~**~~*

!CAUTION!
BUT...The colour DOES NOT STAY ON VERY WELL.
You might find it FADED - it happens with Bleached hair.
Its natural.

2 WAYS to prevent it:
1. Buy a Salon recommended SHAMPOO - for colored hair.
Highly IMPORTANT!
They don't push those $30plus bottles for nothing! (-_-")
YOUR NORMAL "DOVE" SHAMPOOS WILL NOT HELP.

OR

2. *points below* Step 1.5

OR

3. Get BOTH.

*~*~**~**~***~*~*~*~*~~**~~**~*~*~*~*~~*~*~**~~*

Step 1.5 : PRE-COLOR BASE
Check if your stylist has a Pre-Color BASE product.

What does this do?

1. It helps to give your hair DEPTH - otherwise, it looks like a faded wig........(-_-")

2. If your stylist uses the brand GOLDWELL - YOU R IN LUCK!
THEY HAVE THE PRE-COLOR BASE product! ASK FOR IT!
2. It can help you hold your colour in looking solid and won't faded for MONTHS.

Saves you :
1. time
2. loads of money $$
3. Protects your hair -no need to keep bleaching-
4. and have beautiful lightened hair!
