TomTom iPhone Kit Set at $120

Amsterdam, The Netherlands -TomTom officially set the price for its much-anticipated iPhone car kit due in October at $119.
The kit, to be sold separately from the TomTom iPhone app, is basically a portable navigation device (PND) without the screen, said TomTom USA president Jocelyn Vigreux.
First announced earlier this year, the kit includes a GPS chip to improve the GPS reception of the iPhone, making the iPhone-plus-TomTom GPS app more closely match the experience of a PND. It will also charge the iPhone, provide a speaker and a Bluetooth receiver, as well as provide a mounting assembly for the iPhone on the dash or windshield.
TomTom's turn-by-turn iPhone app debuted in August on Apple's App Store for $99.
