The fate between Xinmin teachers and MRT stations

Ok, don't mind the title. It's utter bullshit. Except the part about XMS teachers and mrt stations. That part is true.
It was something that happened yesterday. Something special.
*drumrolls*
I saw 2 xms teachers at 2 different mrt stations. (hahaha gotcha.)
2 in a day. Wow. Lucky. (lol)
The first teacher i saw was Ms Low, my sec 1 chinese teacher. The fateful mrt station? Yishun. Yeah. Imagine my surprise when i saw her. From Hougang to Yishun. That's pretty far.
But, apparently she did not recognise me. LOL.
Not really surprising though. The last time i talked to her was sec2? Or was it sec 1??? ... Nevermind. Forget it. Most importantly, i saw her. Hah.
The next teacher i saw, was Mr Lim (402's bio teacher). Mrt Station : Ang Mo Kio (another far away place from Hougang. Ok maybe not that far)
He's still the same. Same clothes, same bag, same face (yeah).
And scolding 2 other sec sch boys for not tucking in their shirts. (Yes i am serious)
I think those 2 boys were cursing after he left. lol.
After seeing this, i felt rather embarrased (don't ask me why. i have no idea.), and pretended not to know him.
But, he did recognise me. Why? Coz he was nodding to me when i got on the bus. -.- I was pretty shocked actually. Didn't expect him to recognise me.

This talk on xms teachers gives me a sense of homesick, or rather, schoolsick.
I miss Xinmin. I miss the teachers. I miss my friends. I miss the food (popcorn chicken).
Everyone and everything i know is there. It was such a homely feeling when i sat in the hall during the teachers' day celebrations. (yes i skipped school for this.)
Being able to see all the familiar faces, the teachers' putting up a hilarious skit for the students, something which will never be found in YJC. That feeling is not one which can be replaced easily.
Now i really really know, what it means to appreciate and love something, that is already long gone.

Sayonara to PW (not)

WR is gone :) No more WR for the rest of my life (i hope).
It's hello to oral presentation now >.< that's worse.
But, it's a great relief to have the brain-killing WR off our hearts now. :D
No more editing. Mo more racking of brains to come with strategies. No more burden to carry (LOL).
Time to enjoy the weekend.
Before digging into math T.T

On an (even) happier note, YUI-net changed its layout XD
Happy :D

私です?

Is this really me? I guess so. But i think i am starting to get really really irritating to those around me.
Or this is just me. I am the way i am now. This is my true self.
Life gets better. Really? I am hoping that is true.
If i could make a wish, i would want to turn back time. Go back to the past. Step back into the life with all my friends there. How i wish. How i wish. But all this will never be able to come true. Perhaps in the future, but for now, impossible.
Grant me hope. Please.

My first A for mathematics

Omg. I got back my math test today, and guess what??
I got an A!! A freaking A for Curves and Functions 2. OMG.
Unimaginable in my whole life. Never expected that to happen.
My eyes just went O.O when i saw my marks on my paper. Shocked~ (internally. I looked normal on the outside. I think.)
Hopefully this A will follow me through the rest of the year and the next year >.<

And congrats to Cassandra (Koh) for getting 31/50!!! This has proved that you can score for math! Jiayou for subsequent tests! JIAYOU JIAYOU!

R.I.P. Yoshito Usui aka Shin-chan creator

I am sure all of you out there know who this.
Yeps. It's Crayon Shin-chan aka 蜡笔小新.
First appearing in 1990, he later went on to capture the hearts of many other children worldwide.
All of this is only made possible by the author, Yoshito Usui-san.
Without him, there would no Crayon Shin-chan. Without him, Shin-chan would not be able to lift our moods with his weird jokes.

From TOKYOGRAPH: Body identified as "Crayon Shin-chan" creator
On Saturday, a body was discovered below the Tomoiwa cliff of Arafune mountain in the Gunma prefecture. The next day, authorities recovered the body and determined it to be that of mangaka Yoshito Usui (51), who was best known as the creator of "Crayon Shin-chan."
Usui had been reported missing since September 11, when he left for one of his frequent hiking trips in Gunma but did not return. He had told his family that he was planning to climb the Arafune mountain, which is more than 1,400 meters tall.
Usui's body was discovered on Saturday by another climber, about 120 meters below the Tomoiwa cliff. It appears that he accidentally fell from the cliff on the afternoon of September 11 and died from the injuries sustained upon impact. Authorities found his belongings nearby, including a digital camera and a backpack that contained his mobile phone and wallet.
The body was recovered from the mountain by helicopter on Sunday afternoon. An examination of the body found that it matched Usui's, and his family further confirmed his identity.
Usui, whose actual given name was Yoshihito, debuted as a manga artist in 1987 with "Darakuya Store Monogatari." In 1990, he started "Crayon Shin-chan," which has become widely popular in Japan and internationally. An anime series based on the manga has been on the air since 1992 and has had a theatrical film released every year since 1993.
Although nothing has been officially decided yet, it seems likely that the anime will continue, based on comments by people involved in its production. Other popular shows, such as "Sazae-san" and "Doraemon," both continued after their creators' deaths.

Though i am not a fervent reader of Shin-chan (only read 1 book), there is still a feeling of...happiness when i hear about him. All of his corny jokes, his likes of appearing nude (hahaha) just have the power of bringing one to cloud nine. And thanks to SOMEONE's (*clears throat*) frequent imitations of him - 你好。我是蜡笔小新!, Shin-chan became a more occasional visitor in my life.
Thank you Yoshito Usui-san, for bringing joy to all the children out there, and for creating pleasant memories for everyone, young and old. ありがとう.
Rest in peace.

Study, woman, study.

Right. I should be studying, but here i am, talking to myself.
My brain is malfunctioning, and not in the studying mood. Who is in the mood to scrutinise notes that are piled up higher than your bed anyway???
But who have i got to blame? It's just a matter of perserverance, and if i can't even do that, i shouldn't be prepared to see good grades at the end of the year.
Someone knock me into my senses please. Onegai.
